DIET NSS UNIT organized its Annual special camp from 6th January to 11th January 2020 in its adopted villages Akkireddipalem and Koppaka. This year’s annual camp has a special significance as it has allowed the students to associate with the government officials and spread word about a lot of welfare schemes intended for the common man.

• Conducted Medical camp in which free EYE Checkup and B.P Checkup for the Akkireddipalem and Maredupudi village people.
• Kim's Icon team Sheelanagar branch supported for the medical checkup.
• The doctors suggested the local people for EYE operations which will be provided freely on 22-1-2020.
• The local people felt very happy and there are nearly 110 people attended for the medical camp.
• The doctors treated the local people with very polite way.

Pongal Celebrations

• In the mid of 7 days special camp as a refreshment to the volunteers a Rangoli competition conducted among the volunteers in the Pongal celebrations at DIET campus. The volunteers were awarded with wonderful home appliances by the management.

Day4 NSS unit student volunteers visited Maredupudi village

• In the morning session survey is conducted in the village
• Distributed medical camp pamphlets in Maredupudi village. Medical camp held at Akkireddipalem village on tomorrow from 10 am
• In the afternoon session volunteers conducted swatch Bharat in the Maredupudi school campus and it's surroundings.
• Our NSS unit donated water purifier to the school
• In the evening session student volunteers motivated the school children's for their future career plans.

• Student volunteers decorated the school campus with paintings in the building and black painting on class boards.
• Volunteers informed the village people about medical camp and distributed pamphlets regarding medical camp among village people
• Post lunch session volunteers again conducted swatch Bharat in the village.
• Student volunteers interacted with school children's and motivated them for their future career plans and energy conservation aspects.

• Day2 in the NSS special Camp conducted swatch Bharat in the adopted village, near the school location and surrounding streets the student volunteer are actively participated in the event
• 2. Student volunteers informed the village people about the medical camp going to be organized on Friday (10/1/2020).
• The school HM supported us to conduct the medical camp in their premises.
• In the afternoon session volunteer done the swatch Bharat in the remaining streets.

Today DIET NSS unit in the part of Special camp conducted survey in the adopted village Akkireddipalem and the observations are

• Need the cleaning in the ZPH school locality in this response we will conduct Swatch Bharath on 7-1-2020(Tuesday)
• The volunteers informed to the local people about the State Government policy" Energy Conservation tips" and distributed pamphlets among the public.
• Some people required a Medical camp in the local area so in this connection we arranged a medical camp on 11-1-2020(Saturday).
• The school pupil and management local president are supported for our survey activity and requested to paint the black boards in the school campus. So in this connection we planning to paint the black boards and class rooms on 8-1-2020(Wednesday) also they requested us to provide a Mike in the primary school.
