The Department of Master of Business Administration was established in 2008 and provides high-quality management education. The Department believes that management has to interact with technology more intimately in today’s world. Hence, blending technology with management education is highly essential. This approach creates a new breed of managers who are well equipped with the knowledge and skills to face the stark realities of business uncertainties and create value out of the techno-economic intricacies and complexities of the globalized economy.

The Department of Master of Business Administration offers the following postgraduate programmes:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Intake: 60

• MBA in Airport Management – Intake: 60

Both programmes are designed to provide students with strong managerial knowledge, professional skills, industry exposure, and leadership capabilities to meet the evolving demands of the corporate and aviation sectors.

The objective of the Department is to impart sound managerial skills with an emphasis on personality development to match the requirements of the industry. The MBA Department also aims to carry out research in Management Education that shall eventually contribute to the development of society.

The MBA in Airport Management programme is designed to develop professionals with specialized knowledge and managerial skills required for the aviation and airport industry. The programme provides exposure to areas such as airport operations, aviation management, airline management, airport safety and security, customer service, logistics, and other allied areas of the aviation sector. It prepares students to take up managerial and administrative responsibilities in airports, airlines, aviation service providers, logistics organizations, and other related industries.
