Introduction
The Department of CSDM in association with DIET IEEE Computer Society Student Branch successfully organized the two-day International Conference IC–PINAKA 2026 (Predictive Intelligence & Neural Algorithms & Knowledge Analytics) on February 23 and 24, 2026, at Seminar Hall – 1 (A.C), DIET Campus. The conference was conducted with the objective of creating a strong academic and research-oriented platform for students, faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals to explore recent advancements and emerging trends in modern computing technologies.
In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things, Robotics, Quantum Computing, and Intelligent Systems are transforming industries and redefining the future of engineering and research. Recognizing the importance of keeping students aligned with global technological developments, IC–PINAKA 2026 was designed to provide exposure to cutting-edge concepts, real-world applications, and industry expectations.
The conference served as a knowledge-sharing forum that encouraged interdisciplinary learning, innovation, and collaboration between academia and industry. Through expert talks, technical sessions, and interactive discussions, participants were introduced to advanced concepts in predictive intelligence, neural algorithms, automation technologies, and data-driven decision-making systems.

A classical dance performance was presented by Ms. B. Nandhini from the Department of CSDM at Seminar Hall–1, adding a vibrant cultural element to the event. The performance gracefully showcased traditional expressions, rhythm, and artistic excellence, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere among the audience. It was well appreciated by the dignitaries, faculty members, and students present. The performance highlighted the importance of promoting cultural talent and creativity alongside academic and technical activities.

Objectives of the Event
The primary objectives of IC–PINAKA 2026 were:
To provide awareness about emerging technologies and research opportunities
To promote a research-oriented and innovation-driven academic environment
To facilitate interaction between students and industry experts

To encourage active participation in IEEE professional activities
To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry requirements
The conference was also intended to motivate students toward higher studies, research publications, and professional development by exposing them to real-world industry practices and expectations.
In addition to the above objectives, IC–PINAKA 2026 was designed to create a platform for knowledge exchange and intellectual interaction among students, faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals. The event aimed to help participants understand current technological trends, industry challenges, and future research directions in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, IoT, Robotics, and related domains.

The two-day International Conference IC–PINAKA 2026 was conducted successfully with well-planned technical sessions, expert talks, and industry interactions. The program was structured into two sessions each day to ensure effective knowledge delivery and participant engagement.
Day – 1 (February 23, 2026)
Session – 1 (09:40 AM – 12:05 PM)
The first session of Day–1 began with the formal inauguration of IC–PINAKA 2026 at Seminar Hall–1. The program started with the gathering of participants, including faculty members, IEEE student volunteers, and enthusiastic student attendees, creating a vibrant academic atmosphere. This was followed by a presentation highlighting the activities, achievements, and milestones of the DIET IEEE Student Branch, providing participants with an overview of its contributions toward technical learning and professional development.

The distinguished dignitaries were then invited onto the dais, and the event was ceremonially inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the removal of ignorance through knowledge and marking the beginning of a new phase of learning and innovation.The session was conducted in the presence of Dr. R. Vaikunta Rao, Principal, Academic Coordinator, Mr. A. Krishna Nag, IEEE Student Branch Counselor,Dr. A. S. L. K. Gopalamma, HOD–CSDM, and Dr. Sujatha, HOD–CSE, who addressed the gathering.
In their addresses, they emphasized the importance of continuous learning, research orientation, technical skill development, and active participation in IEEE activities. They encouraged students to utilize IEEE platforms for enhancing their knowledge, improving professional competencies, and building strong career foundations in emerging technology domains.
The technical highlight of the session was the Virtual Expert Talk by Dr. Viswash Jattala,Assistant Professor, IIT Bhilai. He delivered an insightful session on advanced computing trends, research opportunities, and emerging technologies in the field of computer science. The session focused on the importance of strong fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a research-oriented mindset for students aspiring to pursue higher education and careers in core technical fields.
Dr. Viswash Jattala also shared valuable information about current industry expectations, interdisciplinary research areas, and the need for continuous skill enhancement to remain relevant in the rapidly evolving technology landscape. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and clarifying their doubts related to research pathways, career planning, and higher studies. The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the speaker for his valuable insights and guidance.

Session – 2 (02:00 PM – 04:30 PM)
The second session of Day–1 was conducted at Seminar Hall–1 and focused on practical development skills and industry-relevant tools. The session was delivered by Mr. Omkar Amudala, IV Year CSM student and IEEE Student Branch Chairperson, in the presence of Dr. R. Vaikunta Rao (Principal), Academic Coordinator, Mr. A. Krishna Nag (IEEE SB Counselor), Dr. Sujatha (HOD–CSE), and Dr. Gopalamma (HOD–CSDM).
During the session, Mr. Omkar provided a comprehensive demonstration on GitHub fundamentals and version control practices. He explained repository creation, branch management, commit operations, merging techniques, and collaboration workflows used in real-time software development. The session

also covered project hosting, documentation practices, and maintaining code efficiently using version control systems.He emphasized the importance of GitHub as an essential tool for industry-level software development, team collaboration, open-source contribution, and building a strong professional portfolio. Students were also guided on how GitHub profiles play a significant role in securing internships and job opportunities in the software industry. The session included live demonstrations, enabling students to understand the practical implementation of version control concepts. As an outcome of the session, students applied their learning by developing a website using GitHub for project management and deployment, gaining hands-on experience in real-time development practices.

The paper presentation sessions witnessed active participation and contributed to promoting a strong research-oriented environment among the students.
Day – 2 (February 24, 2026)
Session – 1 (09:40 AM – 01:00 PM)
The first session of Day–2 commenced with the gathering of participants at Seminar Hall–1. The session began with a brief overview of the day’s agenda and a continuation of the technical and academic momentum established on the previous day. The organizing committee ensured smooth coordination of the session, creating a focused and professional learning environment for the participants.
The session primarily focused on industry-oriented technical exposure and was handled by experts from
RoboCoupler Industries, providing students with real-time insights into practical applications of emerging technologies.
Ms. Soumya Vangapadu, AI & Full Stack Developer, delivered an in-depth technical session on the
application of Artificial Intelligence in real-world scenarios. She explained the development and deployment of real-time AI models such as Face Recognition, Crowd Detection, Violence Detection, and Mask Detection, particularly highlighting their integration with robotic systems for monitoring and automation. The session covered the complete AI lifecycle, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, testing, optimization, and deployment in production environments. She also elaborated on full-stack development practices, backend architecture, API integration, database management, and the importance of scalable system design. Her session provided students with a clear understanding of how AI solutions are implemented in industry settings.

Following this, Ms. Mounika Janapareddy, Technical & Operations Associate, conducted a session focused on Embedded Systems, Robotics, and industry-oriented training methodologies. She shared her professional journey and explained the importance of hands-on learning, practical exposure, and project-based skill development. The morning session concluded with an interaction between the speakers and participants, where students actively asked questions related to technology applications, career pathways, and industry skills.
Session – 2 (01:30 PM Onwards – Parallel Sessions)
The second session of Day–2 was conducted in the afternoon and consisted of parallel technical sessions that commenced at 1:30 PM. Participants were instructed to join the sessions 15 minutes in advance through the shared meeting link to ensure smooth coordination and effective participation.
The sessions were organized under the chairmanship of Dr. D. Radha, Professor & HOD, Department of CSE (AI&DS), Satya Institute of Technology and Management. With her extensive academic and research experience, Dr. Radha provided overall guidance and coordination for the smooth conduct of the technical sessions.
Session –2 was conducted at LH–37 by Mr. Hari Kiran, IEEE Student Branch Secretary, along with the support of Mr. R. Naidu, IEEE Student Branch Vice Chairperson. This session focused on Designing concepts and tools, where the speakers introduced students to the fundamentals of technical and professional design practices. The session covered topics such as UI/UX principles, layout planning, visual hierarchy, color combinations, and the importance of user-centered design in modern applications. The speakers also demonstrated practical design approaches and explained how design skills play a crucial role in project presentation, product development, and professional portfolio building. The session was interactive and helped students understand the importance of design thinking in engineering and software development.
Session – 2 was conducted at Lab–4 by Dr. Poorna Priya, along with a special session on Cyber Security delivered by Mr. R. Naidu. The Cyber Security session focused on the importance of information security, common cyber threats, safe digital practices, and the need for awareness in protecting data and systems. The speaker also discussed real-time security challenges and emerging career opportunities in the cybersecurity domain.
The parallel sessions covered advanced and industry-relevant topics including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things, Cyber Security, Designing Principles, Compiler Design, Microprocessors, and Data Structures. The resource persons explained the concepts in a clear and structured manner, enabling participants to gain practical understanding and technical clarity.
Students actively participated in the sessions, interacted with the speakers, and clarified their doubts related to technical concepts, career opportunities, and project implementation. The sessions were successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from the attendees, marking a strong and effective conclusion to the technical proceedings of IC–PINAKA 2026.
