Founded in 1947, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the world's largest educational and scientific computing society. ACM is dedicated to advancing computing as a science and profession by providing access to cutting-edge research, technical publications, conferences, digital libraries, and professional networking opportunities. With members from academia, industry, and government across the globe, ACM promotes innovation, lifelong learning, and the ethical use of computing technologies.

About DIET ACM Student Chapter:

The DIET ACM Student Chapter is an official student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), established to promote excellence in computing, innovation, and technical learning among students. The chapter serves as a platform for aspiring computer professionals to enhance their technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and collaborative skills through various academic and professional activities. It encourages students to actively participate in workshops, coding competitions, seminars, hackathons, guest lectures, and community outreach programs, preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the IT industry.

 Vision:

To create a vibrant community of computing professionals and students by fostering innovation, technical excellence, lifelong learning, and leadership while advancing the field of computing for the benefit of society.

Mission:

The mission of ACM is to advance computing as a science and profession by promoting research, knowledge sharing, technical education, and professional development. Through the DIET ACM Student Chapter, the mission is achieved by organizing workshops, coding contests, technical talks, hackathons, industrial interactions, and collaborative learning opportunities that inspire students to develop innovative solutions, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and contribute responsibly to society through technology.
