Achieving Problem–Solution Fit (PSF) is a critical early-stage process in innovation, entrepreneurship, and project-based learning. It refers to the alignment between a clearly defined problem and a solution that effectively addresses that problem for a specific group of users. For students, understanding and achieving PSF enhances learning quality, practical relevance, and real-world readiness.

Problem–Solution Fit occurs when: ? The problem is real, specific, and significant ? The target users genuinely experience the problem ? The proposed solution directly addresses the core needs of those users ? Assumptions about the problem and solution are validated through feedback or testing Unlike jumping directly to solutions, PSF emphasizes problem discovery, validation, and iteration.
