The Department of EEE has taken an initiative to introduce an innovative education program Newspaper in Education- NIE under the aegis of department E-SPARKS-Club. Every day one student from each section actively participates in this event from their respective classrooms to elaborate their readability skill and to excel their inner soul to learn about society. They read the main headlines from the newspaper in the morning 1st hour session for 10 minutes. By participating in this activity. They inculcate the habit of reading newspaper daily which this helps in improving students to develop communication skills and knowledge regarding technological innovations around world.
The EEE Department has introduced an innovative and highly beneficial daily vocabulary-
building activity for the students, aiming to enhance their language skills and overall academic
confidence. Every day, the students are provided with a set of meaningful sentences from which
they must identify and write one appropriate and valuable word. This simple yet effective
practice encourages students to think critically, observe carefully, and understand the deeper
context behind each sentence. By focusing on a single word, the students learn to analyze
language with precision and improve their comprehension abilities in a gradual and consistent
manner. This activity also helps them connect unfamiliar or rarely used words with real-life
situations, enabling better retention and practical application. Over time, many students have
begun to participate with great interest and enthusiasm, eagerly looking forward to discovering
new, unique, and sometimes uncommon words that enrich their vocabulary. The activity has
created a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to challenge themselves.
Teachers have observed a noticeable improvement in the way students express their thoughts
both verbally and in writing. The inclusion of interesting and rare English words has sparked
curiosity among the learners, encouraging them to explore the language beyond their textbooks.
The teachers regularly monitor the progress of each student, offering support and guidance
whenever necessary to ensure thorough understanding.
