Context

<p style="text-align: justify;">DIET Innovation & Incubation Centre, Dadi Institute of Engineering & Technology has initiated One Week Online Workshop with eminent speakers from Academia, Industry and Government. The fourth industrial revolution has taken hold. The internet of things (IIoT) or Industry 4.0 is the new layer of technology that means transitioning to a smarter, more connected, and more profitable way of doing business. The Startup India Mission of the Government of India under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, has created the ecosystem for these technologies for enterpreurship. The Internet of Things, or IoT, creates a network where physical devices around the world that are connected to the internet in huge number, collect and share data. Connecting objects and adding sensors makes the device intelligent and they would be able to communicate without involving a human being. It is well known that IOT creates a network, collect and share data through sensors and communicate without involving a human being. The theme of the workshop is to create ecosystem and collaboration and understanding ideas and innovation in IoT of all branches of engineering sciences. Objectives: To create exposure to IOT based applications To create awareness on Startup Policies To create awareness on startup grants from Government, Academia, Industry. Outcomes: Participants have acquired knowledge on IOT, innovation and value creation. Participants were exposed to Startup policies, opportunities and challenges from academia, industries and Government. This Workshop inculcated ideas for protoype development & working on case studies.</p>
