» Engineer’s day celebrations 2017 was organised by the Department of Civil Engineering under the umbrella of DIET IEI Student Chapter. In this regard the celebration was conducted as a three day event where the various events conducted were paper presentation, poster presentation, quiz, model expo, debate, painting, tongue twister and essay writing in which a good paticipation of student of more than 900 have participated in various events. In this connection Engineers Day celebrations poster was released byRespected Prof.V.Krishna Mohan, Formar Registrar, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University; Prof.M.Seetaramaiah, Professor of CS&SE, Andhra University and Honorable Secretary Sri Dadi Ratnakar Sir on 5th September, 2017.
» On september 13th, the inaugral function have taken place for which the chief guest of the event was Prof.K.Venkata Subbaiah garu have attended and addressed the gathering and the dignitries on the dias were vice principal Dr.K.Amarendra, Dean Academics Prof..Babita Jain, HOD-CIVIL Dr.K.Hari Krishna and student president of IEI chapter Miss.P.Neelima which took place from 10:00 am to 12 noon. The competitions of events were stared after the completion of inaugral function where the first competition held was model expo under the judging of chief guest .the various competitions held on day 1 were model expo, debate, tongue twister,essay writing and quiz.
